Who can join LEOSA Locations?
Active duty law enforcement officers who qualify under LEOSA. You sign up with your official agency-issued email address, and an administrator manually reviews every application. This site is not for retired officers or retired-credential (HR 218) carry.
Is it free?
Yes. LEOSA Locations is free for verified active duty officers. There are no membership fees and no premium tiers. The database gets better as more officers contribute.
Do I have to upload my badge or credentials?
No. We never ask for badge photos or credential uploads. Verification is based on your agency name and your official agency email address, reviewed manually by an administrator.
Will other officers see my name?
No. Contributions are attributed to your agency only, never your name. Protecting the identity of contributing officers is a core design principle of the site.
How accurate is the information?
Every report comes from an officer who visited the facility, and other officers can confirm or dispute it with votes and check-ins. That said, policies change. Always verify directly with a facility before carrying. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
How long does approval take?
Review typically completes within 1 to 2 business days. You will receive an email at your agency address once you are approved.
